Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused professional to support vehicle transport operations on an on-call basis. In this role, you will help move vehicles between dealership locations, auction sites, service facilities, and other designated destinations while maintaining a strong focus on safety, timeliness, and professionalism. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, can adapt to changing schedules, and takes pride in representing the organization well.

Responsibilities

• Transport vehicles between designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Follow dispatch instructions, route plans, and delivery schedules as assigned.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after transport to note any existing damage or concerns.
• Complete and maintain required paperwork, trip logs, and delivery documentation.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, dealership personnel, and other team members.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service at all times.
• Observe all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures while operating vehicles.
• Report delays, mechanical issues, or other concerns promptly.
• Handle vehicle keys, documents, and related materials with care and accountability.
• Support additional transportation-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record.
• Ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles, if required by the assignment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe driving practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication and basic documentation skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible for on-call scheduling needs.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and travel between locations as needed.
• Professional demeanor and customer service mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in vehicle transport, dealership operations, delivery driving, or a related field.
• Familiarity with vehicle inspection procedures and transport documentation.
• Knowledge of local roads, highways, and surrounding areas.
