Food Runner / Kitchen Support

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and team-oriented Food Runner / Kitchen Support team member to join our team.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that works directly between the kitchen and the bar . Your primary responsibility will be running food quickly and accurately to our guests, but you will also play an important role in helping the kitchen execute service.

During busy periods, you will help expo burger orders to the cooks, drop fries, organize completed orders, and communicate with the kitchen team to make sure food gets out quickly, accurately, and at the highest quality possible.

We are looking for someone with a strong sense of urgency who understands that great service requires everyone working together.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver food from the kitchen to guests throughout the bar quickly, accurately, and professionally.
  • Expo burger orders to the cooks and help communicate what needs to be fired during service.
  • Drop and manage fries as needed to support the kitchen during busy periods.
  • Help organize completed orders and make sure every item is present before food leaves the kitchen.
  • Communicate clearly with cooks, bartenders, management, and other team members throughout service.
  • Pay close attention to ticket times and help keep orders moving during high-volume periods.
  • Ensure food reaches guests quickly and at the proper temperature.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient expo and food-running station.
  • Restock supplies and assist with basic kitchen support as needed.
  • Jump in wherever necessary to help the kitchen and service team.
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude even during extremely busy periods.
  • Treat every guest with genuine hospitality and make their experience a priority.
What We're Looking For

The most important qualities we are looking for are team mentality, urgency, and reliability .

This is not a position for someone who wants to only run food. You will be an important part of the flow of the kitchen and should be comfortable moving between the dining room, expo station, and basic kitchen responsibilities throughout your shift.

We want someone who understands that there is no "that's not my job" mentality when the restaurant gets busy. If fries need to be dropped, an order needs to be run, the cooks need information, or a teammate needs help, we expect everyone to jump in.

The ideal candidate has previous restaurant, food-running, expo, or kitchen experience; works well under pressure; communicates clearly; has strong attention to detail; and understands how important speed and accuracy are during a busy service.

You should also be dependable, punctual, comfortable being on your feet for long shifts, and available to work late nights and weekends.

Experience is highly valued, but attitude matters just as much. We can teach systems and procedures. We are looking for someone who brings a strong work ethic, positive attitude, sense of urgency, and genuine desire to be part of a great team.

Schedule

Weekend availability is required. Typical shifts will be approximately 5:00 PM–2:00 AM , with the exact schedule based on business needs.

Candidates must be comfortable working Friday and Saturday nights, late-night shifts, and weekends . Reliability during these high-volume shifts is extremely important to this position.

Compensation
  • $18/hour during training
  • $20–$22/hour after training , based on experience and performance

If you are hardworking, move with urgency, enjoy being part of a fast-paced restaurant environment, and are the type of person who naturally jumps in when your team needs help, we would love to meet you.
